Nike Zoom Kobe V iD

Before I get started, I’d like to apologize for my previous post; admittedly, I ran out of ideas and reached… Apparently, for a Coke and a Pepsi. Terrible. Anyway, back to business.  Nike has long had their NikeiD customization line, but it’s only now that I’ve found a shoe that’s been deemed worthy enough to design and buy. After hearing my friend Ben blow up Kobe Bryant’s new signature shoe, appropriately named the Zoom Kobe V (the 5th shoe in the line), I decided to take the plunge. Nike offers a variety of customizable parts: you can select the base color (which includes the toebox), the tip, the eyestay (where the shoe laces come through), the heel support, the midsole, the midsole forefoot, outsole, swoosh, and even the swoosh border. You can probably spend a month picking out colors if you set your mind to it. This is what I ended up with. The cookie cutter ZKV run for $130 or you can personalize your own for $160. Either way you go, you can’t lose- they’re definitely the most comfortable basketball shoe I’ve ever worn. I’m so in love, I’m already on the way to pick these up.
